Our mission is to bring water, sewer, and trash collection services to the Sand Branch community.
VISION STATEMENT
Sand Branch, Texas envisions a vibrant community that honors the history of this freedman’s town, restoring essential services like running water, sewer, and trash collection. Through collaboration with local stakeholders, we aspire to transform Sand Branch into an innovation hub, offering affordable housing, a dynamic community center, historic landmarks, and diverse retail opportunities.
GOALS
* Lift Sand Branch, Texas out of the floodplain
* Complete environmental testing
* Fund environmental remediation
* Fund water and sewer construction
* Create tax incremental financing zone
* Create fund for legacy residents to pay water bills for 10 years and downpayment assistance
